I crushed a bug today


I felt bad


I wanted to kill a self-absorbed asshole

walking (stumbling) along

with his blank face glued

to his iPhone as if he'd go insane

if he did have contact with his own kind


I feel angry and was sorry I had not

means or opportunity to kill this worthless

ambulatory pile of god-shit


the bug was wholly innocent


the asshole and his generation is not
