love's perfection
is only in the mind
if one accedes to it
and the other doesn't
well why hold a grudge?
if the other is too cowardly
to break fast to face
then it's on them even if the whole
cowardly disrespect affects every other soul
in creation
this is how one heartbreak can shift
the way for all of us
the sin of selfishness in the other
affecting all the struggling down the chain of being
