I have had it

with my time on

this craven common world


people so vicious and evil

selfish and stupid and in

conscious meanness


going out of their

way to hurt others

and proud of being like this...


and don't you dare preach

karma to me...it may be true

but it's of no immediate value


to exacerbate trouble or

to grant a healing peace

and what vainglory are you about


in preaching this easy platitude

to anybody?

we all suffer but each of us


in our own distinct measure

and I for one am tired

and tired of this endless killing floor....
