I like it when you strip before me
proud in your feminine superiority
to the masculine hunger for action
that wrecks every cosmic plan of concord
the starry dynamic that sets your beauty
above all God-fashioned things
desire power and sweet merging
above all things to which the human aspires
but alas old dogs or exhausted lions of the season
soon lay down done with their hunt
lust a slow simmering a low hum of agitation
that's sweet to bear when nothing any longer is at stake
still I like it when you strip before me
even if it's only a reminder of the prime that is long gone...
