all right I get it

"He who would save his life must lose it"


well I'm in freefall

but without any hope


I can't hope for anything

without attaching myself to a false idea


I/we just have to trust that

at some point God will stop punishing us so generously


and be what he was portrayed as being

the loving Father who forgives


until then it's suffering relentlessly

it's the purging of the soul


until in utter death we are resurrected

new and unrecognizable to ourselves...
