wifey

I may disappoint you at times

but

I plead ignorance and fear

and an unreasonable aspiration

to get it right with you

even though Life Itself makes it

a losing proposition

the only way to 'win' as it were

is to stay in it

and let the eternal moments

beyond the stranglehold of Time

seep in and unhand

the choke-hold of our earthly sojourn

there it is wifey

our time together

an Infinity in itself

and our love

the wholeness of our beings...
