one thing ends and a new one begins
God Almighty why?
is that what we scramble for
in attempts to convince ourselves
we have repented and been absolved?
this too is an ongoing work
no final answers until the Reunification
no despair if we've forgotten ourselves
and do what our True Selves must do
action by acquiescence
no signing the masterpiece
no glory as it endures its purpose
and who knows this better than the One
to whom we pray for our imaginary lives?
