lifetimes cannot repair

the lesions in the heart and soul

we inflected on ourselves

with such fine disregard

for our own holiness


lifetimes do not matter

if eternity is here and now

you just finally say enough is enough

and stop treating yourself like trash

and inflecting it on others


then lifetimes become the single

content of your soul and there is only

and ever this permanent Present

to heal and absolve and set free

yourself and all you've had business with...


see that for what it is

and you'll see with detachment the gropings of others

through time and space as we all struggle

to this end of struggle....
