it's not that I don't trust you...
but extravagant boasts and predictions
of victory are tiresome unless they deliver
the promised victory...
and do you believe your mouth is as powerful
as the processes that be,,,and can withstand
the actual grinding out of your ordeal?
you will stand for applause and entreaties
as you face the dragon of our mythologies
slaying it or it you...
it's not that I don't trust you
but forgive me if I hedge my bets
hope is as strong as its weakest spot
and you have failed this before....
