how we love to read Rumi
and walk around thinking
how enlightened we are
what sadness Rumi must endure
looking from wherever he is
to see his wisdom become a fashionable hat...
we all love dropping profound quotes and sayings
into out social natter and thinking we come out
looking so superior...
can you imagine what hell on earth
if people really got what Rumi had to say
and tried to live it as he called it?
better they shut their mouths and for once
gave a listen to others...
