God knows I've have ever tried
but there's even a price to be paid
when goodness itself may be denied
the Word is always the last word
no matter what we may think
and so in this contrary conditioned creation
we find that to rise we first must sink
I'll see you down there or up there
or wherever the Void really is
though we know beyond knowing it's around
everyone and thing--and we must grow content with this
