the bad guys won...for now...
it may take a few hundred years
for the pendulum to swing backward
("what's a pendulum?" many may ask...)
and worse...what conditions that we set
by our actions will receive us in future earth lives?
meeting ourselves by suffering
that we caused others to suffer this time?
