I have not walked before
(at least not in this life)
maybe it's time to take account
maybe it's time to face a reckoning
each and every minute calls for this choice
there are no second chances
every mistake is 'fatal'
(that's to say 'determinative')
and God's Permanent Record catches it all
well I'll walk that road and see it through
that's all in life there is to do
where I'll wind up God only knows
to me being me it's all there and I'm just making
my way to it...
