joy and misery muted by plain sight--
to see clearly
is to cure insanity--or drive one into it--
the vicarity is ambivalent
who mad and who sane and which is which
as always
the problem of one who doubts the veracity
of one's experience--
yet taken for granted--unrealized to itself--
the awareness that suffuses all this process--
the consciousness that has yet
to be itself--
