where all parts of the spectrum

fuse into one light


the prism-split rainbow

cast on many a dour wall

cannot tell it’s own various tale


one light subsuming those multiple hues back into itself

and no longer inviting the eye to see and wonder…


but to go blind in the blaze of knowing...
