giving last rights
to a misguiding dream
that sealed a fate
so many years before

would take more grace
than available to me
I confess and acquiesce
anoint the fiasco

and close a door...

mr. milito,

i am playwright, and have been familiar with your work for years. i've just written a play and would love to use one of your poems, maybe two, in my script. i am happy to answer any questions you may have. thank you.

I feel a little idiotic responding to your post so long after it was posted, but in truth, I'm not so tech-savvy, and wondering how many people have bothered to read this work, I fiddled until I came on the stats tab and found your (and other's) comments! Please forgive this unintentional rudeness. Did you use these pieces? I hope you did, despite the lack of response...Sending words out in space (cyber or otherwise) is the whole point, even if you're never sure anybody is hearing them...Please feel free to stay in touch if you'd like...
or if YOU have any questions about my work, or would entertain questions from me about yours
(now that I know where to look for them)...I'm curious about anyone's creativity...it's all contributory to one's expression

Best of luck,
Philip Milito
